As  many of us know, there are several pockets in rural Alabama (and elsewhere) without access to high speed internet.  The Connect Alabama initiative intends to solve that problem, giving everyone the ability to:

• learn or work from home
• communicate with health care providers
• check out the news and hear other emergency messages
• enjoy everything else that has become necessary for living today
